PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: May 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy is intended to be clear about the limited data practices for the current Omnic website and the pre-launch ult waitlist.
This document is provided for transparency and should not be read as a final enterprise data processing agreement, security addendum, or product privacy notice for a generally available service.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how OMNIC SOFTWARE INC. ("Omnic," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Omnic website, the ult waitlist, and related early access communications.
ult is currently in development. This policy is written for the current landing page and waitlist experience. If we launch additional product features, account systems, hosted services, analytics, or integrations, we will update this policy before or when those practices materially change.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. If you email us, ask to join the waitlist, request early access, respond to a product question, or otherwise contact us, we may collect your name, email address, company or project affiliation, role, message content, and any other information you choose to include.
Developer context you choose to share. Because ult is being built for developers using coding agents such as Codex and Claude Code, you may voluntarily tell us about your repositories, workflows, tools, agent usage, review process, or pain points. Please do not send secrets, production credentials, private source code, regulated data, or sensitive personal information unless we explicitly ask for it through a secure channel.
Basic website operation data. When you visit the site, hosting, security, DNS, CDN, and infrastructure providers may process request metadata such as IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring URL, pages requested, timestamps, and basic diagnostic logs. This information is used to deliver, protect, debug, and measure the site.
Third-party links. If you use links to GitHub, X, Discord, your email client, or another third-party service, those services may collect information under their own policies. We do not control those services.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to operate the website, maintain the waitlist, respond to messages, understand whether the problem we are building for is real, decide who to invite into early access, improve product direction, prevent abuse, secure the site, comply with legal obligations, and keep records of our communications.
We may use waitlist information to send occasional product updates, research questions, early access invitations, launch notices, or administrative messages. You can ask us to stop sending non-essential messages at any time.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the site, email, waitlist, security, infrastructure, analytics, customer research, or internal business tools. These providers are expected to process information only for the services they provide to us.
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, security, and integrity of Omnic, our users, or others.
If Omnic is involved in a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and continuity protections where applicable.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking
The current landing page is intended to be minimal. We do not currently describe a full advertising, retargeting, or behavioral analytics program for this site.
Infrastructure providers may still use necessary technical mechanisms to route traffic, protect the site, prevent abuse, balance load, or maintain security. If we later add analytics, cookies, product telemetry, forms, pixels, or similar tracking technologies beyond what is necessary to operate and protect the site, we will update this policy and, where required, provide additional notice or choice.
6. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining the waitlist, evaluating early product interest, responding to you, improving our product direction, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.
If you ask us to remove you from the waitlist, we will delete or de-identify the waitlist information we can reasonably associate with you, unless we need to keep limited information for legal, security, fraud prevention, or recordkeeping reasons.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards designed to protect information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Because our product is for developers working with code and agents, please avoid sending secrets, API keys, credentials, private repository contents, customer data, or other confidential material through ordinary email or public community channels.
8. Your Choices
You may ask us to access, correct, delete, or stop using personal information that we can reasonably associate with you. You may also ask to be removed from the waitlist or to stop receiving non-essential product communications.
To make a request, contact us at hello@omnic.sh . We may need to verify your request before acting on it, and some requests may be limited by law, security, or our need to keep appropriate business records.
9. California Privacy Notice
If California privacy laws apply to your information, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information about certain disclosures of personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
Based on the current landing page and waitlist, the categories of personal information we may collect include identifiers such as name and email address, internet or electronic network activity information such as basic site logs, professional or employment-related information you choose to provide, and inferences or product research notes we derive from your voluntary feedback.
We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics.
10. EEA, UK, and Swiss Users
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing may include your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving a pre-launch product and communicating with prospective users, performance of a contract or steps prior to a contract, and compliance with legal obligations.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a local data protection authority.
Omnic is based in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries that may have different data protection laws than your country.
11. Children
The website and waitlist are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the website, waitlist, product, or legal requirements change. When we make changes, we will update the date above. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
